Tina Jenkins, RPSGT

Ms. Tina Jenkins was a Navy-trained polysomnographer and sleep research specialist in the 1980's. In the early 90's, she worked in Sleep Medicine with Scripps in California and Loyola Medical Center in Illinois. For the past ten years, Ms. Jenkins has served as Technical Manager with MERIT Centers for Sleep Health supervising nine diagnostic Sleep Centers in Northern Illinois. She has trained many physicians and technicians in diagnostic sleep testing and created the curriculum to meet the American Academy of Sleep Medicine A-STEP sleep technologist training program. Ms. Jenkins was the Director of the APT/AAST standards committee for two years from 2005- 2007 and developed the standards for diagnostic testing policies and procedures as the forerunner to the A-Step program.
