Dr. Derchak earned his pre-medical bachelor of science degree from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind.; his masters of science in Exercise Physiology from the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind.; and his doctorate in Human Performance/Exercise Physiology from the School of Graduate Studies at Indiana University. An accomplished scientist and researcher, Dr. Derchak joined VivoMetrics in 2003 and has overall responsibility for the clinical evaluation and study of the LifeShirt(R), a 'smart' shirt that collects and analyzes the wearer's vital signs while they go about their normal lives at work, home and play.
